Whoa...its just been a while and suddenly i came to a realisation that i haven been blogging for 2 weeks plus liao...oh well, what can i say, im a busy and hardworking man :P well....at least half of it is true i guess, too many outfields during weekdays lately, weekends better spent elsewhere (not just like a zai nan brainless wow-ing all day long mind u), so times that ive touched the com is essentially reduced substantially, so yea.
oh well, lets backtrack....go back to the weekend b4 my bdae, 13th oct...
lets c....sat was nice...actually, much of it has dissipated from my mind(damn, must be getting old, oh yea, thats right, im one year older, thats y...)Ok, ignore the self-comment, anw, highlight of that day...Chocolate Buffet at the Fullerton with my dear(crap i actually have to search online for the street directory just for that stupid hotel name). One word of advice....DO NOT, i repeat, do not overeat, till now im still keeping a small distance from chocolates except for a few occasions...But i must say, the chocolates, tho needless to say since it came from Fullerton, is really really rich and overwhelmingly good...And being a pure chocolate lover, naturally i din like the ones mixed with other stuff, like some passionfruit choc cake thingy, and the lychee tiramisu, but my dear likes it, so hey u gotta try it out for urself. There was this particulaly small counter offering a variety of choc to choose to make hot choc with. Being a noob, i had to ask like wads with all the percentage written for each names on the various kinds of choc, and for all the noobs out there, the hot choc maker explained that it was the amount of chocolate(i was thinking she meant 'cocoa' but i cant be sure...), thus the higher the percentage, the more bitter it is...naturally my dear asked for her recommendation of mixture, and hey, its really nice, tho it came with a peculiar sour aftertaste which my dear thinks it was weird...
Fastracking on....my Bdae, 13th oct
well nth much, i just rmb i emo quite a bit coz i was doing stores the entire day in camp, then finally got my much desired nights out to spend the remaning night with my family who thankfully rmb-ed my bdae, and of coz my dear who drove all the way dow nto my house just to cheer me up :)
Somewhere in between till today...
watched a movie, called eagle eye, pretty tense and exciting movie to watch, typical action packed movie, no real deep content. just averagish government-conspiracy-like-stuff about a supercomputer gone nuts, and some innocent ppl dragged in to solve the matter. A good time filler tho if u have nothing much to do.
ytd....24th oct
now with the memory still fresh within my de-stimulated brain, i recall...spending a quiet and peacful time with my dear...made gan bei(i think its called dried scallops right?) porridge with my dear...tried making chocolate mousse(yes that is correct, CHOCOLATE mousse, in spite of the long entry abt the choc stuff, but hey, when u go outfield, all the appetite comes back ya) and oh, i bought the ingredients which i thought was quite ex(~$15) but turned out the dessert servings was meant for 8 so abt $2/pax, so it was reasonable i guess. while the dessert was in the midst of freezing, watched an old docu-movie, Supersize Me....haha im not as fat as i think after all...but the movie sure spoilt my appetite for a bit. pretty sure it'll kinda make my cravings for macs wear down a bit for a while. Really amazed at the amounts the americans eat...its horrible....supersize...can u imagine drinking like half a gallon coke in a single meal, with fries so much that it looks like u just fried the entire bag just newly bought? And of coz burgers twice the size we eat e.g. DOUBLE quarter pounder with cheese. Sick, in sg they only sell quarter pounders last time...Haha, hope i din sound anorexic saying all that...But if u ask me, not much variety for eating out in america, hey at least we have coffeeshops if we dun want fastfood for cheap daily eatouts...Noted, one more reason why i should stay in singapore, checked...Oh, back to the mousse, we tried it out after dinner....it tasted....nice! haha we succeeded in making it! i rmb last time we tried we made choc pudding instead coz not enough gelatine....But b4 we ate it we put a bit of cocoa powder and had hershey's syrup for deco... yum...nice nice....haha...anw for pics refer to my dear's blog, im sure she's gonna post it online soon....
Oh think i left out a bit of things over the pask 2+ weeks i din blog, like the makeover pics that we took and i developed the remaining ones....Same, refer to my dear's blog the pics is alr up there, its really nice( i hate looking fat in that baige ecko shirt tho >.<). And no im not blogging abt camp stuff or outfields, no, no, no....im jsut glad to finish it all...gotta go india on 16th nov, after which im gonna start my countdown to freedom...sigh, ppl alr ORD, damn its demoralising...but hey a man's gotta do what a man's gotta do... alright, back to cos duty, look out for my next post then. Note: to those that saw me post my blog site on facebook and came to visit, pls pls say hi on my tag, i dun want voyeurs, i want audience(or rather vidience) :)
A kiss is more than a thousand words...and i wish to speak billions :D
